This means that the website is not complete. This of course, does not imply that it won't still evolve, merely that we are now out of beta testing. If you notice any bugs or have ideas for new features, please send them to be (you'll notice the contact link now works.) Version 1.1 shouldn't be too far away.

On another note, I am quite interested in what your thoughts are on the current series, "Being a Physics Undergraduate in 10 Easy Steps." I've been living with the idea for what seems like forever now, so I'm starting to get sick of it. Are 4 part mini-series a good idea, or should I never do them again? Please let me know, because I can't tell anymore.

Finally, I want to thank everyone who has voted for the comic. Keep up the good work, and I'll find some way to reward you all, I promise. [an error occurred while processing this directive] 11/01/06 [an error occurred while processing this directive] I'm going to point you all up to the shiny new VOTE! link at the top of the page. For those of you not familiar with this, basically, each IP address is allowed to vote for a comic once per day. The number of votes are tallied and webcomics listed in an order starting with the ones with the highest number of votes. What's the point? By voting, you increase this comic's rank, allowing more people to find it and (hopefully) enjoy it. It's a very simple way to support the comic (and help it gain readership beyond friends who I link to it every update.) What's more, if interest proves stong enough, I'll start offering bonus comics if certain vote levels are reached, as a way of saying "thank you" to all of you.

Sorry again for the slightly late update (I say as though any of you are waiting for the clock to hit midnight EST so you can see the new comic. I was hosting a Halloween party which just ended, and as I don't have automatic updating up yet, the comic had to wait a few hours until now. At least I'm not like those other slackers who promise new comics and then will go weeks with only the occasional "blarg, I'm still alive, kinda." post.

As for the party, I naturally had the best costume, as previewed in comic 23, the Pi-rate. My friend Christina came pretty close with her Pirate Wench costume.

The Pi-rate is hanging out with a pair of ninjas. While many may imagine that ninjas and pi-rates are mortal enemies, this is something that only applies between nanjas and pirates, not pi-rates.

While I naturally had the best costume, Christina clearly won the award for both "hottest costume" as well as "most elaborate costume." [an error occurred while processing this directive] 10/29/06 [an error occurred while processing this directive] I hope you all enjoy the Halloween themed comic today. Wednesday will resume the series started last Wednesday, "How to be a Physics Undergraduate in 10 Easy Steps."

In general site news, I now have the "About" link at the top of the page working. The rest of them can't possibly be far off, so stay tuned.
