Have you ever gone to school, figuring you'll be there for 4 or 5 hours, only to not return for 48? If so, you'll know why this comic is going up a day later than I thought it would.
I'm starting to get back on track with the comicing. Sadly, I'm not fully back yet, as I'll need to miss Wednesday's update. This means that the next new comic'll be Sunday, the 13th, barring any unforeseen problems.
Additionally, I've been in a poetic mood of late, so I thought I'd include a tanka that spilled out of me, for those of you into that sort of thing (English majors read this comic, right?)

I truly do apologize for the scarcity of updates. Over the last 17 days, I've put 150 hours into school (that's over 60 hours of work a week.) As much as I love drawing comics, spending as few nights as possible sleeping on a couch at school is a slightly higher priority for me. It's all over on the 11th though. The way I figure it, if I can make it until then, surely you guys can too, right? I thought so.

A new comic! It's a Christmas miracle! Oh, it's April you say? In that case, it's an Easter miracle. Yeah, that's the ticket.
Remember how last update I said that there'd probably be two more in April? Well, that was close to correct, though ultimately wrong. Rather, the next update will be next Wednesday, a week from now. I do want to thank you all for sticking with me while I work on these insufferable projects. They'll be done soon, and then I can get back to making the funny twice a week,
And a reposting from the news post on the last slackass comic. I want to help you all out with the last comic. Seems not many of you explored it enough to fully get the joke involved. Without giving anything away, there are 4 pages in the last comic. Keep playing around until you read them all.
